Very good condition American Standard Bass from their 3rd year of production.

       Upton Bass grafted the scroll onto a new neck a number of years ago.  The new neck is somewhat beefier than the original and retains the original string length of 43-1/4" The new ebony fingerboard is an improvement over the original board, thick and well made.

      Currently set up with Piranstro Obligato synthetic core strings, which give the bass a lot of growl and sustain.
