This great sounding and playing Kay has been fitted with a new, round  profile ebony board,  has a slightly thicker, increased neck thickness, and a modern, neck  set  with 30mm overstand and  6-7/8” bridge height, all of which makes the bass more playable by modern standards.   In addition it has a new bassbar fitted and a new endpin. All in all, an updated classic.
