 2001 Eastman 305 Model Bass $4200

This is one of Eastman’s well made  fully carved maple and spruce round back  3/4 size model which is more or less based on the pattern of French luthier Grunert Quenoil  with a narrow tapering upper bout to facilitate easy access to the upper register thumb position . It has held up well for 25 years and  been kept up well by the original owner. It has just received  a few set up adjustments and had a small side crack glued and cleated.

Current set up includes a mixed set of D’addario Zyex (synthetic core) strings and an Evah Pirrazi light E string.

Price includes a cover. Current MSRP of this model is over $7000. This would be a good bass for an advancing student or anyone looking for a well made carved bass that has gotten some gentle wear for 1/4 century.

The string length is 41-3/4” and the heel stop on the G string is at the note “d”
