This is a recent model from Shen based on a combination of the 7/8 size flat back 'Gemunder' model and the 150 hybrid bass- it has a 42 1/2 string length (one inch longer than the 3/4 models) and a longer body length as well.  The result is a bass with a lot of sustain and power, but still manageable playability.

I particularly like this model for jazz playing although it's equally versatile under the bow.
